After receiving his general surgical training in a high volume tertiary care center catering to 4 surrounding districts, having developed interest in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, moved to the prestigious Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi for higher surgical training. He was trained in the entire spectrum of Plastic Surgery including Microvascular surgery and Aesthetic surgery. He was part of the team which has performed the highest number of Bilateral Hand Transplants in the world, out of which he was part of 5 transplants. His area of interests include Cancer reconstruction, Complex trauma including microvascular surgery and Aesthetic Surgery.
